A wicket keeper and decent middle order batsman of stocky build he was nevertheless very acrobatic enabling him to claim 350 test dismissals at one time the highest and still the 4th highest ever.
Marsh, along with pace bowlers Dennis Lillee and Jeff Thompson, formed a fearsome trio.
Awarded an MBE in 1981he moved into broadcasting followed by responsibility for coaching of the entire Australian Cricket National Teams.
